Join our expert volunteers behind the scenes on these special days. Enthusiasts and budding engineers can also see some of the restoration work ongoing.

Open Cockpit Days.

Selected Cockpits not usually open to the public are available to enter with volunteers in attendance.  All ages and abilities welcome.  Quizzes and activity sheets available.

 

Sunday 5th to Sunday 19th Of April

Easter School Holidays- Easter Hunt

Come and take part in our Easter hunt. A prize for all taking part.

Inclusive activity for all ages. 50p to enter and free entry to our prize draw for a year’s free entry to the museum.

Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th Of June

School Holiday Fun!

(6 weeks school hols)

We will be open everyday throughout the

Summer holidays.

Family quizzes and activity sheets available. Something for all ages. A great place to bring a picnic and while away the hours.

Sunday 20th September

 80th Anniversary & Battle of Britain Parade and Sunset Service-

Sunday Evening

There will be a parade to commemorate the Battle of Britain.

The parade and service will take place at 5.50pm.

There will be a march past by the Air cadets followed by a short service. free entry after 4.30pm.

 

Sunday 27th September

Military Radio and Electro Jumble

The military radio equipment jumble sale.

A fascinating morning- come and rummage through historical aviation artefacts and Electronic gear.

If you would like to hire a pitch, please ask in the shop for details. Normal admission rates apply
