  • Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are allowed within the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum, and must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Do you have parking?
Yes, we have a large on-site car park, which is free for visitors to use for the duration of their visit. We also have disabled parking close to the museum entrance. On some of our event days, we may use car parking marshals in order to maximise the number of available spaces. Please follow their instructions to ensure that all visitors can park safely.
  • Is the museum wheelchair/scooter friendly?
We are pleased to say that 95% of the museum is accessible to users of wheelchairs and mobility scooters. There are two small display areas that unfortunately are not accessible - one inside the main hangar up a flight of stairs, and our Royal Observer Display which is inside an original V-Force crews sleeping bunks. All public display buildings are ramped for entry and exit, and disabled facilities are available within building 19.

Visitors are more than welcome to bring their own food to enjoy and make use of our indoor or outdoor seating areas. If you are looking for something more substantial, there are many premises in the immediate vicinity of the museum providing food within the 'Herten Triangle' development.
  • Can I just visit the museum shop?
You can! The museum shop is open throughout the museum's opening hours and can be browsed by anyone, not just visitors to the museum.
